How to make a video behave like a GIF
Published · 0:23
Use a video element with the autoplay, loop, muted and playsinline attributes and WebM and MP4 sources. Those attributes make it start on load, repeat forever, stay silent and play inside the page on iPhone, matching GIF behavior at a fraction of the size. Muted autoplay is always allowed in Chrome.
