How to add a transparent video to a website
Published · 0:29
Use one video element with the autoplay, muted, loop and playsinline attributes and two sources: an HEVC-alpha .mov first, typed video/quicktime; codecs="hvc1.1.6.H120.b0", then a VP9-alpha WebM. Order matters because Safari can play VP9 but ignores its transparency, so it must find the HEVC file first.
