Why won't my video autoplay on iPhone?

iOS Safari autoplays only video that is muted or has no audio track and is visible on screen, and iPhone needs the playsinline attribute to play inline instead of fullscreen. Use a video element with the autoplay, muted, loop and playsinline attributes and handle the Promise from play() in case playback is refused.
