Best format for an animated logo on a website
Published · 0:28
For a decorative transparent loop, use an HEVC-alpha .mov followed by a VP9-alpha WebM in one muted, autoplaying video element. For a logo that reacts to hover or clicks, use a Rive file. Avoid GIF for logos with soft edges, because GIF transparency is all-or-nothing.
