Can you animate the iOS launch screen?

No. The iOS launch screen is a static Info.plist configuration or storyboard that cannot use custom classes, runtime attributes or code connections. Apple says it should look nearly identical to your first screen. Play a branded intro animation in your first in-app view, after launch completes, instead.
